Women for Jim

Last night we held our inaugural Women for Jim event at Joe Tecce’s Restaurant in Boston! We had a great time and Lt. Governor Kerry Healey was there to show her support for my campaign--which I truly appreciated.

 

I was joined by my wife, Kathy, and about 75 women from all over the state. It was great to just spend time with so many people I respect and hear about their thoughts on the future of Massachusetts.

 

Kathy and Lt. Gov Healey both spoke before me. Kathy was pretty nice just building me up. She really deserves a lot of credit, putting up with the grueling schedule of a campaign. Even though we were with dozens of other people, it was still really nice to have an entire evening with my wife.

 

Lt. Gov. Healey had some choice words about John Kerry. “I can’t think of a better fight to have in Massachusetts than ridding ourselves of John Kerry. I am whole-heartedly behind Jim Ogonowski’s campaign, not only because his opponent deserves to be replaced, but because he deserves to represent our state and represent the people of Massachusetts.”

 

Lt. Gov Healey said that she has been to hundreds of events and has never bumped into John Kerry. I simply do not know how you think you can represent the state if you are never in Massachusetts.

 

I want to thank all of you that made it to yesterday’s event. We hope to have many more in the months to come!

 

Together we will be able to truly bring change to Washington and make history in Massachusetts!
