(Westford, MA) – Jim Ogonowski released the following congratulations today regarding Jon Lester’s historic no-hitter against the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park last night:

“My congratulations go out to Jon Lester for his historic pitching performance against the Royals last night. Lester is not only a fine athlete, but he is also an amazing person who’s story of hope and perseverance has brought inspiration to sports fans across New England and throughout the country. We need role models like Lester that remind us that with a little hard work and determination, anything is possible. Again, my congratulations to Jon and the entire Red Sox organization.”
